Go play the game and learn it like everyone else, put in the time to understand why you don’t know s h I t based on your comments. Why folks with a couple dozen hours of play think they can critique the game amazes me. Get off forums and learn the damn game. One of the best and most challenging skill based strategy games I have ever played. Shut up and play. Once you get to 200 plus we can talk.
ive played plenty of games that offer "Balance" on matchs, higher damage given, lower damage taken/ to compensate uneven player advantages.
that being said there is no reason this game can't put BOT armys of equal strength into the war battles, to adjust the game to make it fun for everyone, cause the other side of the equation is level 60's are bored instant killing low levels, i seen how 30+ level 60's all flooded one spot, and to what? face 3 or 4 level 40's?
im sort of a joke when you think about it, and here you are trying to tell us all this system isn't broken, that games on the internet aren't broken caused companies have turned them into cash grabs while offering the players very little support and or to balance the game when issues arise.
Now i think the game could be very fun for everyone, it sorta reminds me of a romance of the three kingdoms online action game that was out back in 2008. had similar unit type structure, and the fact they are all oriental units is that they most likely used the same resources.
Its easy to get angry when you know your wrong, or think your right when everyone tells you different. But these games are all the same, Play 1 you have played them all, i would hate to really think how many hours i have in games. its More then enough to tell you the current system is a joke for the players to maintain.
if your gonna comment reply please do so with insightful and useful information to help make the game better. That is my goal. until you high levels stop looking for a easy challenge and actually seek a fun and difficult battle, you will never enjoy the game.
you are just grinding for grinds sake, your not playing this cause its offering you excitement. your playing it cause you want the excitement you cant get. You know its broke, but won't accept it.
I know its broke, and i just got here. So why am I the one having to tell everyone.
Great game but really bad management of player grouping, due to super low population spread across multi regions.
i can only imagine how bad the queue was before the latest wave of new players joined the game.
Here are some tips to newbs in high ques.
Death ball. Don’t go alone, follow the group and live or die with them.
Hero’s are weak, troops are strong. Use your troops. Don’t try to wipe their troops without yours.
Counter the meta. Current meta is name archers, power rangers and imp pikes. I play against the meta. So nam are deadly but die quickly. Woodcutters can clear nam in a charge. So get cheap fast charge troops and hunt their archers. Those same troops can catch and kill power rangers. Leave imp pikes to your team.
Expect to die in tw. It is end game and you are new. Play, it’s f,un, but understand, if your cohort hits a big house they will be devistated. Last three tw na cohorts focused us and were little more than a nuisance. Get your quest dings and go play siege. Siege during tw is mostly newer players.
Its my hope to see this game take off an get a much more popularity, the concept is great , i am a big medieval fan. recently played Raid shadow legends, and i would like to see this game take some of the art work concepts and implement into new units and skins, together i feel that games like this could take off and be a fun experience for everyone.
but players have to find enjoyment in it and hitting a pay wall like it currently is doesn't help the situation.
at level 30 you have no units no real way to fight a player who is level 60, why they grouped us together is cause of population and no body being in the 30 group range. again this could be solved by cross regional queue's
the issue i am seeing is what incentive does a new player have to through there lot in with current players, they are out matched, out numbered, out skilled. a little adjustment is needed so lower level players can at least enjoy the game along side veterans.
It isn't even 100% that they just have higher levels, better gear, better units than you. They also know how to play the game better right now.
Stop worrying about the grind have fun. level up a few good units. learn more about what your commander can do. After that just do your best and the grind wont seem bad.
Also this game while you can "P2W" it really isn't worth worrying about. You can do just find without spending any money.
Classic entitlement case."Give me all now on silver platter without me doing any work".
I can smell zoomer from here.Just go back to apex or some other ♥♥♥♥ OW.You can get epic gear in 20 seconds after game begins there.Thats your level.Me and other people will enjoy long grind.(Im not old player,Im less than month in)
stay with your unit,
keep your unit near other other units.
Attack as group.
Dont keep your units out in the open.
Dont keep your units on a wall top.
Bring more melee than ranged
Do your dailies.
Make your unit kits.
Manage your low level units, they make a difference in long battles.
use serfs to suicide bomb archers or as human shields when you need to bring up your body count.
village watchmen can easily swarm up a knocked down hero with their long sticks, it doesn't always happen to find a lone hero but for only 30 leadership it's worth trying.
pike militia and desmene spearmen are complementary: if someone from your team is placing the spearmen you place the militia behind them and vice versa. Level up your spearmen to have more block and your militia to have the "stun when bracing" ability.
The militia has one additional ability: if you place it into a narrow space all the pikes will overlap and their damage will skyrocket.
The coutiliers you will need to unlock, they cost 2000 honour and they are one of the most cost effective units you can get. For 130 leadership points you can use them to wipe almost any unit not in formation.
Position them in a line with f2 and charge ======== ---like this---> so that they all stomp over the same enemies multiple times.
The coutiliers almost always die after their charge, but if you avoid shieldwalls and pike formations you will see a path of carnage in their wake.
Now you have 265 leadership points left, press U, click on AUXILIARY, recruit the biggest free unit you can see and your team is done.
Now you need to level up your units so they become STRONK. Farm expeditions they are the easiest way to make experience.
no body has a good time when its 3 vs 15, not much to be said about that, other then 60 players looking for a free win vs a level 30. why else would they group us together. i would rather the option that anyone under 60 be grouped together , and all level 60's be queued together.
sadly the queue's are sometimes lengthy, even when queued together.. so makes you wonder why this games population is falling out, its a great game. could be the community that preys on new players is one that isn't very popular.
game could have so much more potential if its players just had vision.
