Resource management is a good thing if done well and its actually one of the very strong points of CB and done very well.
This video explains reconditioning and that sounds like what the topic is asking for.
I found this on Youtube.

i dont mind resource management, but limited item lifetime has to be one of the most unrewarding mechanics you can find in a videogame.
personally, its enough to turn me away from games that use it.
I recognize that name for the Similarion. Not an easy read. :)
The resource management isnt overly complicated got to give it a chance.
Equipment is done well also and again got to give it a chance. A nice smithing animation like Skyrim would be nice though.
wait, so reconditioning sets your item back to the maximum endurance for that item type then, without rerolling the stats?
so if you had a weapon that had 200 max endurance when you crafted it, repaired it a few times and it got down there to, say 20 max endurance, reconditioning would set it back to 200 while keeping all the stats and bonuses intact?
its kindof an awkward system, but definitely would address my concern.
Yep.
I have high hopes for this game because For Honour messed up completely and this game has got alot right, the tough parts to. ESO has a large budget and may be done well but offers no great battles and really wont be able to easily if ever.
CB really could be the best MMO out there easily.
well, ok thats statisfying enough for me. managing the blueprints and crafting materials as a resource to bring a great item back to pristine condition is fine for me.
i still think however, that the hero equipment could be built upon and that the game could benefit from more sidegrades to the armor sets.
ive read through the set bonuses, and have seen that a lot of the armor sets improve specific skills of a weapon class. i could easily see a couple of armor sets for each weapon class that power up different skills, so even if youre using a specific weapon, you might want to swap out your armor sets dependent on the type of battle that youre joining.
for example arena battles where youre only fighting against enemy heroes often benefit from a different skillset than siege battles where large numbers of units are involved.
thanks for the reply.
This level of customization and upgrading really isnt seen in any other games, and is another really well done part of them game.
Yes its awsome. There is a cost but its done very well. Means eventually with enough tries a player will get a good set of equipment. Meanwhile no chance of a downgrade.
