At 31 PVP is going to be tough no matter what but even past 100 stun lock still kills you.
Most productive comment here thanks man!
Dueling the arms master and trying the different skills is a massive help even to the highest lvl players.
Even looking at the damage in detail on the training dummies and how much each skill does is well worth doing.
This has had me cracking up 😂👌
Spaming sprint attack, go faster, hit harder, free stamina cost, stamina isn't broken, but sprint attack is.
+ actually character speed is not working, during our last test with a friend i was unable to catch him with light armor when he was wearing a full set of heavy, and we were just running both the same speed, didn't make test for stamina consumption.
But totally of topic here, never played nodachi, i play longsword and shortsword, and for me they are pain in the ass to kill and very hard matchup because looks like most of the attacks breaks my sheild and they have a sort of hp regen on hits.
Maybe try to have better combat awarness to avoid stunlock, avoid bad matchup, or bad situations, looks like this class is more like an aoe to kill units and break sheild walls, but doesn't looks very good for dueling hero.
i can beat 3 or 4 other people alone as an Nodachi if u fight in meele units without an shield or low tier shield units (easy to break the shield).
Most of the time i got like 6-12 kills each round cause most of the people don't understand why an Nodachi can heal so much in a fight.
+ Nodachi is like a whole quicktime event as an hero, if your reactions are to slow u will loose but u can get up as an nodchi from knockups if your reaction is fast enough and u can even break out of the Assasin stun ult and counter it.
The main problem at the moment are the bugs at nodachi with his healing, cause sometimes u just don't get a heal and stuff like that.
+ the ults from nodachi are just ♥♥♥♥ never take the charge one is just gargabe, the other one is mehh.. but better than nothing.
+ if u want to play the 2 times the week deathmatch and u want to win it, play a class with a shield :D, played against 7 longsword and shield + 3 shortsword and shield and yeah... u get perma stunned non stop realy annoying :D
and sry for the grammar mistakes i just suck at grammer, even in my native language :D
Many times even, if you roll back timely from stun, you may not be able to roll back from chain stun lock combinations. So generally in PVP, you dont try to be solo, but support each other to not be stun chain locked and time your retreats wisely.
Honestly, I dont see nodachi working in pure pvp matches. I myself am playing with 2-3 classes at the moment.
Btw, where did you use your attribute points? Its extremely crucial to have a proper build.
I main Nodachi, and I don’t have these issues. I recommend you play the Nodachi as more of an assassin than a front lines warrior. Hit and run attacks, (especially if there are multiple enemy players near you). Don’t stay in one place too long. Don’t forget to block .. they can’t knock you down if you block their skill (aside from certain skills you cannot block)
Use bloodthirsty, as that is your only cc ability (aside from dragons leap; but it’s hard to land). Use monstrous blade in matchmaking, paired with dragons claw and you will be able to sustain in combat very well.
Manage your stamina so if you get ganked, you can escape easier.
Players to watch out for imo - Poleaxe , Dual Blades . Sword and shields.
Glaive and spear also can be deadly (however I think they lack cc compared to the above mentioned classes)
Ultimately, I’d say Nodachi is tough starting out. But it gets easier once you get all your attributes and skills unlocked. Also boils down to game sense, and individual skill.
Stick with it, Nodachi is a beast; and don’t listen to those who say it sucks in pvp, they are just bad players ^_^
this happends to all classes that cant wear heavy armors.....there are only like 4 classes playable and those are just the heavy guys thats it rest is totaly trash
