Do something about poleaxe and dual blade ult

Being paralysed and raped all along look stupid and abusing, it's totally anti skill and need fix as it's actually a free kill button

Please do something, notso OP-LS was nothing compared to this

Yup.

it *can* be blocked, but just like when trying to block attacks in general, between lag and hitboxes actually blocking it is really iffy. The startup on it is fast enough that if it's popped within like 10 feet of you and you try to reflexively block it lag will make the block not register.

I think more reliable blocking mechanics in addition to the DB one actually being blockable would fix it enough without having to actually remove/change either of them. That or make stun recovery skills break out of them mid animation. That way of you've blown your cool down already you're out of luck, but if you still have/saved it you can get out having only taken like half damage.

You CAN get out of the dual blade ultimate with CC recovery abilities. People get out of it all the time including other dual blades. Which then turns into, me being stuck in my animation trying to cancel it while they hit me or use their own ult on me. any stunning hit stops my ult. I can dash at a musket, get shotguned and its canceled. I can get slapped by a glaive run attack and its canceled. You can have a team mate do any of those during my ult and then i get knocked out of it. I can get killed by units near my target while doing it.

It also is not a one hit and your dead button, it does not do enough damage to one shot you even a full hp light armored character will not die to it. It is basically only useful against people who over extend and separate from their group and are weak. Otherwise i will just get stunned by their team mates or killed by units because im totally vulnerable.

also i can totally miss the dual blades ult. if you just get behind some units i will run into them and use my ult on a unit instead of a hero and waste it. Its the easiest way to mess me up, get weak and then walk behind some unit and i wont ever get you.

It's autowin if ganker or units no match you, i'll try what you all said but i still believe this have to be fix like perma stun or knock down with animation that last so long

Poleaxe and DB ult's are one of the weakest in term of burst, damage and aoe. First both are single target, both takes tons of time to land the full damage. In most cases someone hit you and your ability simply stops. Both ult are hard to use in mass pvp, because in most of the times you end with doing the ult on some unit.

But let me guess, you got ult and locked on one place because you were too cooky thinking you can handle with 2-3 heroes at once and you died because of the animation lock on either poleaxe ult or either DB ult and now crying here how OP they are.

Simply solution, don't act as rambo and always have in mind that if pole or db is running around most likely you will get ulted and someone from there team will kill you.

Incredible. People are crying over every thing. The thing is you have counters against this classes. Just play them and you will understand quickly how to counter them.

What lvl are you? What weapon are you using?

I use different class but I like the DB the best. DB is a fun weapon to play. If you are still learning how to fight 1v1 with your weapon of choice, than yes a db will beat you. I been fighting different class and it comes down to skill and internet connection. If DB had heavy armor then i would think it was op but they don't. DB uses light armor. When I play as a DB I look for enemy players using light or medium armor. They also have to be away from units and teammates that could help them. One hit from anything will stop a DB from doing full damage with ultimate, also people can move out the way. Just because I attack a player, that doesn't mean I always win the fight. There been many times, I had to run away. The only class that has a very hard time killing a DB ( and any other weapon styles) is the short bow. If DB was as op as you are saying. Then why isn't everyone playing dual blade in sieges, deathmatches, feild battles, and exp? TW is the time where players get out their best weapon and armor to fight. Why isn't everyone a DB during TW?
This last deathmatch was full of teams using Longswords and Shortsword ultimate to keep knocking people down while the rest of their team killed everyone.

p.s. When you are playing a siege game (with 29 players) count how many db are in the game. Really do this with every game mode.
