Long bow is slow and it’s kit does not flinch unless you fully load your arrow. And flinch is garbage.
.... if you get shot by an arrow it won’t flinch you, it will full out render you unable to move irl. So if any class deserves a stun it’s archers.
Not malee classes since it’s proven- swords don’t do jack to steel plate or even hardened steel plate. So making us stunned from sword strikes makes no sense.

I think the biggest problem with both Short and Longbow, is that they generally aren't very good at unit clear, or hero killing, they are very support, but aren't very good at that either IMHO.
Musket class can at least set a shield wall on fire and make it vulnerable to attack, or bomb a formation and break it.
I think the Bows need some form of love, but making them hit stun and be unavoidable is most definitely not the play IMHO.
I can agree that stun locking would be a major issue but listen to this.
What if we add a stat called stun resist? And then give archers the ability. It will reduce the ability of classes to be tanks as they will have to choose stun resist over health or resist over health.
That would circumvent the problem and allow archers to use stun lock.

Arrows needs to slow enemy significantly. Their is no reason I shot you in head /hand / arm and it being the same.
So i suggest adding slow mechanics on hit... where it hits decides how much enemy is slowed down. And these injuries would stack.
Head= -90%
Foot= -55%
Arm= -33%
The problem with bows is that they lose out in a lot of DPS by missing, while melee classes literally just walk up and punch everything to death. Aiming assist is somewhat needed against enemy heroes, and against normal units, they need to take more DMG, or at the very least, punch through shields faster.
That does not justify not making the class better. Every class has a better ultimate then us.

Every class had functional abilities. We don’t
1) Bodkin (is worse then the unit- we are the general what we weaker then 4 star unit?)
2) flame arrow (mostly utility- and does not do anything)
3) Scatter shot (Ye got luck doing anything- it’s designed for point blank (we never do that) )
4) concentration does not work (pierce stats don’t effect anything)
Our arrows are slower then a nerf bow from dollarama.
They don’t pierce armour for some reason (we live in space X where swords penetrate steel plate but arrows don’t)
Only class effected by lagging and for being an anti duel blades class (they dodge our arrows)
Our dodge does not work we still get hit (no iframe)
We can’t stop ppl with flinch as it only lasts 0.2 /second.
That’s why we need either stun on our full charged shot, or slow the enemy down.
OR
I would accept arrows causing laceration (bleeding) that disables heroes heals and prevents them from using buffs
Now now, i never said one is better or worse than the other, i just have to say that shooting faster does have its perks, and their's a glitch that you can do with a long bow that makes you shoot just as fast as the short bow too, which is something i do to line up my shots and go for head shots when in high or low ground.
I'v noticed, despite almost completing my rouge set light armor, short bows are very deadly to lightly armored people, as they're able to hit me very hard. I myself do the same thing with the long bow. This brings up to another point, Long Bows (and i assume short bows too) do VERY little DMG against a Longsword/Shield class as they use heavy armor. The shameful thing is that with their shields up, they can actually heal faster than you're able to put in DPS, which is so silly since considered that most people do not even have their ulti unlocked! It has to punch through armor more often!
Then you'd just be making everyone else stronger.
Its a low chance to make them stronger.
It’s just disappointing that a weapon that should devastate enemies is so under whelming. [due note I do not yet have my ultimate- I have gotten 12 skill pages none for my class]
Ps- in my ideal world I actually have massacred siege battles where we had 10 archers. (It was a test run- manually found ppl).
And we just sacked all enemies (lvl 200 even) with arrows. And we won the siege in augolia in less then 3 mins.
So perhaps the issue is more in the class synergy? I still think the class should have stun / slow down to help your team move in.

I mainly use spear, but I unlocked Long Bow because I wanted to give it a shot and I have to say this is the main issue I had when attempting to play it.
