False positive or is this really malware?

Can I have some actual developer clarification or something?

It's a false positive, just add and exception. It's flagging the anti-cheat and the p2p launcher, this is a common thing with the my.com launcher and their games.

Not a false positive. There is spyware attached to the game. It's a price you gotta pay to play a game published by My.com.

False information, why would steam allow a malware into their platform and why would company risk their name, along with the legal repercussions from doing so.

One guy say one thing, and another. Another thing.. What is up and down in this.? I have never seen this problem in my 14 years of steam use. So is it a virus or what is it? Can someone cut it out and say a little more that just yes or no.. :) for all, we are gamers who wants to play right :D

I'll play devil's advocate

https://store.steampowered.com/app/469820/Genital_Jousting/

This is just one example of what steam allows on their platform. I'd say anything is possible.

There's a difference between satire games and games that actually harm user's computers.

There's already an in-depth discussion about this whole situation - https://steamcommunity.com/app/905370/discussions/0/1637536330455987155/

There's a pinned post from a developer about this. That's probably the best you're going to get.

Developers and Publishers will always say " everyting allright", because no person will admit to their crimes. Fact is there is a consensus within Antivirus programs that this game has trojan.
My steam acc and mail got hacked after playing this game for a few days, during recovery process I found that email for steam acc was changed to a*****@m***.r*. Publisher of this game is Russian company Mail.ru , so @m***.r* and mail.ru. What a coincedence right. This is my motivation to check this forum and warn other people about it. Ask yourself, does chinese game published by russians worth the risk?.

Ensure you have 2-Factor Mobile Auth and have a password that isn't common or low bit. Your account is extremely hard to get hacked if you have mobile authentication + 128-bit password.

There's a difference between correlation and causality, It's like saying how you're in a Russian Dota Group and you were hacked by a Russian Email. So it must be your Russian affiliation with the group. It just doesn't make sense to pin point it blindly, when usually accounts are hacked by foreign hackers.

Another example: Game is created by google.com, google owns gmail.com. My account was hacked by ****gmail.com. So it must be google is a virus hacking into my account.

The false positive is already acknowledged from the Dev's - https://steamcommunity.com/app/905370/discussions/0/1637536330458472207/

you know you can get in big problems when you try to defame a company first show some real evidence before you start such claims.

I had specific case to which you reply with speculation and generalization. No key points was addressed.
