Yes its to bad that much better content isnt made available in other games, but maybe CB will grow and have excellent content for those prices eventually.
I already know the score and maybe others figure it out to. Just rich trolls making life hard for video game players the most affordable entertainment available.
No offence to the makers of CB mostly although if they choose to listen to alt armies instead of their player base like many games are doing, everyone knows this, then what ever. CB is a new game and deserves a fair chance though.
But honestly F2p companies sometimes miss the point, if the sell for cheaper they are likely to get more sales and possibly earn more in the long run.
Anyway the content your getting from a skin is like 1% of an actual game if that! So really they should be like 20 p XD
pretty much, the 180 prem is priced pretty well.
See that is the problem you are willing to sacrifice. If you dont spend the money on stupid ♥♥♥♥ they might get the point and you wont have either. They have 0 power, you control what they offer by buying it or not
Everything else they have is priced reasonably, then you look at the skins and BAM wtf?! Also the runic set looks decent in the picture and ♥♥♥♥ in the preview. That skin did a 180 into the crapper. You are mainly paying 30$ for a hood and a helmet, the armor itself is generic af.
I much rather this current system so far they done a amazing job managing the microtranaction store hopefully it remains like this too.
For them to lower prices on cosmetics means they have to start restructuring the microtranction store and finding other ways to gain money so I hope that dosnt happen and enough people get a sub to keep devs cost of working on game going they already also said the world map being expanded will never be behind a payed wall so there seem to be alot of content in works that will be free too.
So ya so happy with the devs approuch so far and really cant wait to see what kinda styles for units and heros alike they will add to the store.
They also for free users added a attire npc that lets u change your fashion to items you find in the world so they have bin very generous to the free to play users then any non pay to play or buy to play game i ever sceen.
This game probble the most free to play friendly game there is.
I personaly dont mind paying for a sub and fashion and will keep my sub active as long as i play. =)
Keep up amazing work devs<3

You know, except for... like... literally every game ever. Even OBLIVION which had ONE item that was a skin as a DLC didn't go that high and it got BLASTED for charging 1/3 of that price. Ace Combat series has had planes - not just cosmetics - for $5 to $7 and got SLAMMED for charging so much by many fans even though they were gameplay-altering content (in a primarily single player game, and with modifiers to try and balance them for MP, although I still wish they'd included them free for MP and only charged for access to them in story, because that makes more sense if you want to avoid the pay-to-win problem).
SMITE, Heroes of the Storm, Overwatch, Warframe, Battlerite, Blade Symphony, Gladiabots, and that's just a handful of examples off the top of my head where you have cosmetic skin options and there's no way any given combination can ever cost as much as $30 for a single character's look. You're looking in the maybe $5 to $10 range for most games which have skins as a thing, and very rarely going as high as $15 in a normal game that does it, with any game even reaching the $10 mark having that as a level for high-tier items with extra detail, with cheaper skins being available in the $2 to $5 range as well.
EDIT: That said, while this is a cray-seeming price, IF it's a choice between $30 cosmetics and $5 lootboxes (even cosmetic-only lootboxes) I'll take the cosmetics. I'd rather see a game get money and stay alive and funded without grindy gameplay enforcing paid gambling to get the things you want.
They dont have to restructure their prices to accomodate the drop in skin. That is pretty funny lol. You know how many f2p play games are successful not price gouging people? All the f2p games that are wildly successful.
League has 20$ skins and those skins actuall do ♥♥♥♥. They are revoiced, all the effects are different and a lot of quality has been put into them. 20$ imo is still much, but if I see a skin for 30$ that ♥♥♥♥♥♥ better shoot rockets and turn into a gundam.
Yeah, I'd be ok with a game that has $30 cosmetic skins if they're a FULL SET for a character, and you can get cheaper options and partial sets and individual pieces for cheaper sets are like $1 or $2 and maybe $5 for a piece of the $30 set if it's like 8 pieces - so you can spend $40 if you get the set piece by piece, or $30 for the full outfit in one go. And you'd have other outfits you can get for $5 that would cost $8 to get each piece individually, and $10 for a set that would cost $16 if you bought each piece individually. Build up a decent variety and selection of items like that, put them into free in-game lootboxes (not ones you spend real money on), and suddenly players start winning a "free" item they like the look of, but it doesn't match the rest of their outfit - but hey, they can buy the rest of the set in the shop! Monetisation done in a manipulative way, but still respecting the players and not turning your game into a casino.
Low resolution screens. Best armors ever in a video game and stand up great against competitor games, or make them look bad outright rather. Just should be balanced by expansions and features premium content.

Some of the other armors are brass and things, very nice.
