Doom 3: Not Suppose To Work?

I am getting so aggitated with Dell, intel, Bethesda, and Steam. Every single one of these companies say that Doom 3 (2005) isn't supposed to be able to run for my PC:

Dell Inspiron N5050 Laptop
Windows 7 Home Premium (64-Bit)
Intel Core 2nd Gen i3-2350M 2.3GHz Processor (Intel HD Graphics 3000)
6GB DDR3 SDRAM @1333MHz

Yet I have played the whole entire game, at the highest possible graphics.
