DOOM 3
Could Doom 3 really fit within the rest of the timeline?
The only way I see this happening is Doom 3 happening prior or at least at the same time as Doom 1. Considering Mars got invaded by the Demons, I think it's safe to say Phobos and Deimos would also be next as well. And it almost ties is with the idea of Betruger saying he wants to bring "Hell to Earth" which as we saw at the end of Doom 1 and all of Doom 2 to be the case. But also we should consider Resurrection of Evil too. Keep note that it's a 2 year gap between Doom 3 and Resurrection of Evil (2145-2147), and since Doom 3 would be an almost immediate prequel to Doom 1, and Doom 2 would be an immediate sequel to Doom 1, that means Resurrection of Evil would take place after Doom 2, and I'd say likely taking place either during or after Doom 64. So to make things simple, the timeline would be something like this should we be able to put Doom 3 within it: Doom 3 > Doom 1 > Doom 2 > Doom 64 (+Lost Levels) > Resurrection of Evil > Dark Ages > Doom 2016 > Eternal (+Ancient Gods).

Quit creating new topics while ignoring replies to the others. You seem like a troll trying to get people to argue about it.

There is no such thing as one universal non-contradictory coherent and even logical "rest of the timeline" in DOOM franchise. And never had been. So, your question itself IS a trolling attepmt to bait people.

I think every Steam game forum has that kind of fantasizing attention seeker these days.
