game crashes pice of sh** doesnt matter what you do or what mods you download better invest in a widnows 95 tried all ports all mods the year is 2025 and it just doesnt work lets just move on to fortnite and lesser quality games

Try the BFG version, it should work better on modern systems.

Can confirm it runs just fine on Windows 11, aside from having to edit a config file for the correct resolution

Windows 11 w/the Perfected mod and runs fine for me.

Doom 3 --- not "BFG" --- runs perfectly on Windows 7. I played it in 4K last time on my 55" OLED.
