Perfected Doom 3 Mod
I just can't get enough of this game with that mod running.
It increases the intensity so much.. and it uses a version of Sikkmod, so it is graphically great as well.

Anyone playing with it?

My favorite D3 mod. Leaves the core mechanics intact but improves EVERYTHING.

I've been using this mod every time I built a new PC so my D3 experience has been enhanced every time.
Planning to do another run in early 2016 when I get a new machine and hopefully version 7 of the mod releases.

Is it compatible with LMS?

I would imagine not, as it makes some changes to damage output and intake, adds secondary functions to weapons.

But I couldn't know for sure since I just googled what last man standing was.

I guess I should take a look, but I don't want to screw the game up for tonight's game. I already found out that simply installing Open Co-op and LMS on the same machien makes Doom 3 wonky.

Maybe I'll look tomorrow afternoon. We've been playing LMS for the co-op mode. Doom 3 still looks great, but the graphics are ever so slightly dated.

Yeah, thats why I really like Perfected. Sikkmod does crazy things to d3 if you have the rig to run it.

I can't get enough of the guy who created PD3. you rarely see this level of devotion to a single mod. it looks borderline on par with the new Doom4 footage at times
Which is better, perfected Doom 3 or Absolute HD Mod?

Visually Absolute HD is probably slightly superior, havent tried it myself, but reading the info on moddb, leads me to believe so.

Perfected doom makes it a much more challenging experience, It adds a lot of damage to enemy attacks, and adds alternate functions / secondary fire - to pretty much all the weapons.
And still looks amazing.

So does absolute HD when it comes to aalternate fire and faster stronger enemies.
