Having CD Key Problems?

If you bought Doom 3 and Resurrection of Evil as a bundle pack you will need to enter the Doom 3 key into the top boxes and the Resurrection of Evil (RoE) key into the bottom boxes, be sure no box is empty ;D

What is you buy through steam? No key given but game still asking for it

aha, you right click to find the CD key and to make the game run, you ahve to run both normal doom 3 and the expansion pack

This is only if you bought both "Doom 3" and "Resurrection of Evil" as a bundle pack.

Go into your Library and select Doom 3 (not play) - look to the right and click CD key and it will open a little window with the key, write it down then go back to your library and select "Resurrection of Evil" - look to the right and select CD key and write down that key too.

Now when you open Doom 3 the top box is for Doom 3's key, the bottom box is for the "Resurrection of Evil" key (RoE). Don't leave any box empty.

I was playing in offline mode until today, tried to connect multiplier and got an error which "the key is already in use" What's happening?

I can't find any solutions to that problem so far, but you can try this, it seems to work for others but doesn't mention anything about multiplayer. You might want to try contacting steam support as well. GL

for some reason it happened to me once then I just started the RoE and closed and after that the game was not asking for the key at all, it seems to be glitchy more than any other thing

I bought the game and expansion seperately, now no matter what I do I am informed the CD key is invallid, any ideas?

I too bought the doom 3 and resurection (retail) seperatly. How do I do the install in steam?

Sorry guys I bought Doom 3 as a bundle so I'm not sure about cd key issues with only Doom 3, only advice I can give is - don't leave any boxes blank. GL
