Doom 3 and absolute hd mod

-how to directly start the mod? i wrote +set fs_game absolutehd in launch options, it starts the mod but video options are ♥♥♥♥♥♥, whatever resolution i choose, it starts with the default vanilla one, 1024x768 or what was it

- any way to make the flashlight appear when shooting like in bfg?

1. Start from it's own custom exe or renamed copy of Doom3.exe.
2. There is an option in included sikkmod settings.

Also, there are no many reasons to use buggy/lagy crap as AHD. Redux mod is muuuch better.

i have it instaled the redux mod but it wont activad in the game itself wat to do man

Can you describe your problem clearer?
Did you simply run it from main menu or adjust "+set fs_game redux" in launch options?
Also, for case of owning amd, did you follow the corresponding guide?

When I installed Absolute HD mod (yesterday) it added a shortcut for the mod on my desktop automatically, which launches the game with the mod.

BTW, in regards to the flashlight problem, most doom fans will tell you that BFG's usage of the flashlight is BS. Playing the game as it was originally intended is recommended.
