How to get 1920x1080?
I noticed this game does not have that screen size. Is there another size i can do or do I have to go in and do something?

Also, you can type all that into the command line of Doom 3 so the game starts up with the settings you want.
Right click the game>Properties>Launch Options

There is a very good mod at modDb.com that allows widescreen without messing up much of the rest of the game... I can't quite think of the name of the top of my head but it's worth looking for and downloading.

How does widescreen mess up the game without the mod? I use it all the time game seems fine...

Huh, what !? I just mean their is a Mod that just bassically allows widescreen and maybe a few other graphical options in the menu without installing a lot of other game/ graphical tweaks what-so-ever.... nothing to do with your comment at all. Having said that and tried both, this mod and just opening up the config file and changing the values you mention, the Mod I'm talking works a little better and the maker of the mod has worked on the in game menus and UI in the game itself making it more "widescreen" friendly.
I'm now going to have to try and find the name of the Mod I'm talking about....
Edit: After doing a quick search I couldn't really find the Mod I'm talking about so sorry to waste anyones time, just editing the config file or adding to the launch command should work fine.

I just installed the redux mod from moddb.com, works full screen and in HD, works all the time, every time.

i have doom 3 and would like to know a quick way without mods to get in fullscreen?

Doom 3 Redux not only does a very nice job improving the graphical fidelity but it also does widescreen where the widescreen doesn't look stretched out. I'm using it at 4k and it's spectacular.
