DOOM 3

They don't make games like these anymore
Reason why I loved the early 2000's because devs made great games with story and there wasn't much bugs or even half made products. I really enjoyed this game when I was in highschool even though I was running this on a crappy Emachine Pc with a FX 5500 256mb with 500mb of ram lol.

Doom 3 is one of the last of its kind.
Funny thing is, it's much closer to being a spiritual successor to Half-Life than Half-Life 2 was.
I love Quake 4 for the same reason, which is an unpopular opinion.

In a way, I believe Raven tried to bring back some of that legacy with Singularity, and although I enjoyed that game for its lore, story and adventure, it wasn't just that kind of shooter

P.S. don't get me started on what kind of PC I was playing Doom 3 on back in the day)
The thing almost melted my GPU on minimum settings

Not sure if you've checked it out or not but this 2011 game slipped under the radar: https://store.steampowered.com/app/98400/Hard_Reset_Extended_Edition/
