Whispers in Doom 3

There is a big undiscovered thematic area in Doom 3 regarding the whispers or the ghosts one can encounter especially around the BFR area. One tip, activating the BFR is so much ambientally better way than activating the bridges that I think it is a waste to even suggest allowing the bridges, save for the plasma rifle trap at the end of that road. Returning to the point, there are two distinct voices, the female and the male. The female voice appears other places throughout the game than only around BFR, particularly around precipices, such as empty elevator shaft. Her screams can also be heard in Hell - if that is her, I suppose - as well as once she explains "they took her baby" in quite a moody gothic scene. Related to this, baby wailing is another part of the voices case. Baby demons are present throughout the game, though. Male voice I remember to have encountered only once, near the mentioned plasma rifle trap. Male and female voices typically say "over here" or otherwise indicate rather nonsensical directions leading to dead or fatal ends, alternatively just express pain. Baby only wails. I think this is a promising topic to be further developed. Currently it leaves an empty spot in the contents of Doom 3, as it is too direct and identificable to serve solely aesthetic purposes.
