Increase the VRAM the game can use (Absolute HD Mod)?

So, I have an AMD FX 8320 OC to 4.0 Ghz, and a RX 480 8GB card. I would assume that I can run absolute hd with soft shadows and all the other features, but I am unable to. It baffles me that my 8gb card can't handle soft shadows and SSAO. It can handle all the other options that make it look like a recent game and I have the game settings in Sikkmod to make it even harder, but it does annoy me when there's this awesome bloom effect and the HDR makes it look increadible, but then theres a black box over the wall for a shadow.

Is there a way to increase the VRAM the game can use, because I don't think that all 8GB are being used.

If there isn't, it's all good. I can live without SSAO and soft shadows, but it would be nice if there was a way to have those enabled without getting 10 fps as a result.

In Autoexec.cfg, in Doom3/absolutehd folders (or any other .cfg profile you load while in game)
If Autoexec.cfg isn't here : create it and open it with notepad.

Search (or write the line) for seta com_videoRam (was 128 for me... with my 1070 8Go...) and set it to "8192". Should look like :
seta com_videoRam "8192"

Save 'n close and enjoy.
Soft Shadows aren't optimized for this game and eat a LOT of ressources, got massives drops -40, 30 fps too if I enable them. Also the light redering methods in this game aren't fittable with the use of SS, scene readability is better with them off -and less an eyesore during long game sessions btw-.
So i don't use them and the game is still really beautiful for his age -You can check my screenshots ;) everything is maxed out + hdr on (found a quick fix for make it working on modern Nvidia cards) + tweaked sikkmod and merged some other little mods like my own crosshair, unggibable mod etc... Only SS off.
