Flashlight added to each weapon, but there are other visual and gameplay changes as well. You need to copy the files into your "base" directory of Doom 3.
CTRL ALT ~
The console will appear, in which then type:
testlight
You need to repeat the procedure for each area you face, wishing to illuminate.
EDIT:
Actually I have a save-the-day feature for you. Go into your "base" directory of Doom3, open "DoomConfig" with a Notepad application and right underneath the first "unbindall" line, add:
bind "XXX" "testlight"
where XXX is the key you would like to use for immediate illuminating of area. Mind the key should be something else than any one used for other feature. For example:
bind "z" "testlight"
Bout fricken time.
Hands down the best flashlight mod for doom3 it's a body mounted light and centered like doom3 e3 alpha 2002 and you can turn it on and off and it's better than doom3 bfg editions light, it's the same size as the handheld flashlights beam, go into the player controls and click other and you can set whatever button you want to turn it on and off.
Thank you russians lol and screw the bfg edition lmao!
does this mod still work and if so how do you install it
Just drop the yafm-hl folder inside your Doom 3 install folder, and you just load it from the mods menu.
Also, make sure you do this in case the textures look bad
