FIle path issue on mac

I am using CT on a mac. No problems there. However, I logged into a machine at school, a PC, to run CT. Now I can not get back to the "path" for this computer (see the local drives). Example. I want to load an image on a Trans. When I click "Load Image", the game is looking for a Z:/ drive, supposedly the PC at the school and I have no way (that I can see) to access the local drives on the mac that I am running locally.I can only navigate to Z:/ or :/, which is not this local machine, the mac, I am currently playing on. And no, I am still not connected to the school nor still logged into Steam there.

The same thing happens when I load a new project. The game only gives me Z:/, a path which does not exist locally. I am however, able to save but I am unable to find the file. Close the game and reopen and, boom, the project is there. Search for it... no love.

WTF?

Is there a way that I am missing to switch the path so I can access the local drives?
