- what about coosing to see the light output in % (with automatic relative lumens )specifically for every fixture? CT for skypanel?
- it would be great to export the project in a plot view with distances.
- also a second screen camera output would be great.
- 4x4 butterflyes with different kind of diffusions?
- more fixtures tungsten / HMI / led ?
- spherical/anamorphic lense choice?
- in camera ND filters?
- dynamic range setting for the camera?
- keyboard and mouse settings?
anyway thank you for the great and hard work you've done Matt!
Gear
+ Allow the height of the tripod to be lowered or raised (I figure I could use a crane to do this, but if we’re ever indoors, I don’t think that’ll fly)
+ Camera temperature/white balance control
+ C-stands/combo stands (20” & 40”)
+ Slider dolly (mounts to stands or can be placed on various surfaces such as floors, counters, and tables)
+ Electronic gimbal/Steadicam rig
+ Drone
+ Flags, silks, and scrims (various sizes, full block, 1-stop, 2-stop)
+ 8x8’ and 12x12’ silks
+ Bounce boards
+ Apple boxes
+ Mountable incandescent/fluorescent bulbs as individuals and on chords
- This would be useful to allow us to hide lights within a scene behind a prop or set piece, fixing them to shapes to make custom light rigs such as ring lights, and so they can be mounted/draped in the background or used as set dressing (besides the existing lamps)
+ Props
+ Anything outdoor related such as rocks/boulders, bushes/trees, streams/rivers, all of various sizes, or at least that can be scaled (perhaps by way of Shift + Scroll?)
+ Hand held objects such as a phone, wallet, gun, key, notepad, sword, axe, bow and arrow
+ Vehicles that character models can be mounted to (riding a bike, a skateboard, etc.)
General
+ Additional movement controls for faster traveling within a project (such as a jetpack “sprint”)
+ Full control of character models (expressions, limb placement/position, hand positions, prone/sitting)
+ Swappable clothing for all character models
Loving your product so far and I appreciate all the work you put into it. When will you add some floppies/flags and cstands? This is the main thing I'm missing for all my ligthing set ups.
Thank you for this amazing creative tool!
1. Crosshair Size & Color
I see your game does have a user settings menu. I would like to choose the crosshair size from this menu. Sometimes during gameplay, I couldn't even see the cursor, especially against a blue or white sky.
2. Undo/Redo Button
More than once while I was building a scene, I would accidentally delete an object. I was expecting to hit Ctrl + Z , but that function didn't work.
3. Confirm Delete
I would like to see a prompt on screen asking me: "Confirm Delete?" before I remove an object. One time while I was building an elaborate truss system, I removed a piece on accident and spent the next five minutes trying to put it back.
4. Lasso/Multiple Select
This function is borrowed from Photoshop and Vectorworks: I would like the ability to click and drag on the screen to select multiple objects and create groups.

TRUSS TOOL
1. XYZ Input Field
I would like a pop-up menu with the exact XYZ coordinates of the truss in the digital space. I would also like the ability to manually input a number so I can line the objects up better.
2. Rotate Tool
I would like a button in the pop-up menu that allows me to rotate the truss by 90 or 180 degrees with one click.
3. Snap To Nearby Truss
I see you already have a snap function, but this didn't seem to work very well with truss. Sometimes I would have to fly around and change views a lot just to get the truss to line up properly.
4. Truss Length
I would like an input field for truss length. For example: 4' , 8' , 10' sections
5. Truss Groups
I like to build overhead rigs which require a lot of truss. I would like to see the ability to group large sections together so I can move them around together in the scene.
Thank you for your consideration.
we already bought cinetracer and we have a few questions:
1. can I control the terrain like hills or rivers (like in „the sims“ or any map editor (for example the map editor of Battlefield 1942))
2. can I size objects like the stone or the tree to the size I need it?
3. is there a plan to customize the Standins? Like „the sims“ - maybe I need someone who is fat or skinny or bearded with red hairs. Long hairs or no hairs.
Is there something planned already?
Having the ability to program in a character movement or a camera movement and use a dial to practice pulling focus would be a huge benefit to any 1st AC at any level. What we would need is a way to animate basic motion, have a dial control, and have focus that changes exponentially. Add in some real world lenses with setting for their aperture and minimum focus to recreate their throw and you would really have something here.
Oh how I wish I could just sit at home grinding away at focus pulling any time I am not working.
