did they fix that bug where meeps stave to death for no reason ,is it playable?

No idea, I haven't played the new update at all. I loaded it up two two seconds to check the change log and it wasn't mentioned, though, so I'm guessing no. They did fix the one where meeples get stuck inside constructions, though.

I havent personally experienced this bug in any tests, so I'm unsure if it's been fixed. There have been some short lived pathfinding bugs previously, if they're at all related, or perhaps it could be a specific mod? I do know there was a mod with some of the chairs that didn't have the correct tags so they were actually stopping meeple from being able to sit down and eat and they got stuck

Good news! I've just found this bug and fixed it for this Friday's patch. After some rigorous testing today it showed itself. It's a very uncommon bug, hence why it never showed up for me earlier.

There are multiple causes for it, but in a nutshell, there are some peculiar patterns to a station that could cause it, or if a meeple get's blocked or interrupted at just the wrong moment when trying to find food, they get halted and dont recover without re-loading.

all fixed now, I'll push it onto the patch this Friday :)

That's great. I encountered the bug a lot, but I have a pretty severe symmetry addiction and I usually have two hallways in each direction by the time I finish building on a z-level.
