wont eat bug

the meep is not anorexic and i have a fish tank with lots of feed and a replicator is there any know bugs with the star trek mod and not eating? or any bugs known similar ? current set up is early game //small ship ive tried reloading yet he just goes to work dying from hunger ..ow im more hungry stops .. goes back too work wtf
