Yes. PS4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch will have a physical release. There are no current plans for a physical PC release.

I have found an issue or bug, what do I do?
You can report issues in the survey. If the issue is pressing / preventing you from continuing, you can reach out to us directly via Discord in the #xenon-racer channel or via the Steam Community Hub.

Will the game look graphically better on full release?
There are no future plans at the moment to further improve the graphical quality of the game.

Is the Open Beta only for Steam? Is it possible to have an Open/Closed Beta on a console Beta is only for Steam, no console beta/demo is planned at this time

40 Different Tracks, this includes separate 20 tracks and their reverse variant.

Will the game support offline multiplayer mode?
Split screen is supported to up to 2 players

Does this game support Xbox One X and PS4 Pro features? If yes, what are the differences compared to regular consoles?
Xenon Racer runs with a better resolution on PS4 Pro and Xbox One X (4K) and have better frame rate compared to regular consoles.

Does this game have story/campaign mode?
Yes, Xenon Racer has a career championship mode

Does the game support steering wheels?
Yes, we support a few Logitech, Thrustmaster and Fanatec wheels.

We cannot guarantee any additional brand/steering wheel models compatibility with our game. If you are using a different model than our officially supported ones, please let us know if you encounter issues or if everything functions correctly.

Can I change the difficulty settings and where can I do that?
We have 3 difficulty options: Easy, Normal, Hard. You may change those at the start of the game or in the options menu.

Is P2P the only available multiplayer? Are there any plans for dedicated servers?
Multiplayer is only available in P2P, no plans for dedicated servers at the moment.

How many people does online multiplayer support?
Multiplayer supports up to 8 players online

How can I remove the stamps/marks on my cars?
You can modify as you please all the liveries but you cannot remove marks/stamps from the cars.

Are these all of the customization options and if not, how can I unlock more customization options?
During the open beta all customization are available. You cannot unlock more parts. In the launch version you’ll have to unlock parts for all cars.

How do I take screenshots?
Press F12 in-game to take a screenshot

Does the game have in-game video recorder?
No, just a photo mode.

Does this game have custom keybindings? If not, will this be in the game upon release?
No custom keybindings available in beta, we are working to add it in the launch version.

Are you planning on releasing any DLCs or more content (cars, tracks) for this game?
We don’t have any specific information on DLC or extra content, but we are going to support the game after launch.

Is it possible to choose what music track will be played during a race or in the game menu?
You can’t choose directly which track to listen during a race but you can set random track selection in the options menu to have different music on different tracks.

How do I drift?
In Xenon Racer drifting is essential. You can drift by:
pressing brake:

PS4 controller - L2
or handbrake during a corner
Keyboard - (SPACEBAR)

or simply by double tapping (press > release> press) the gas/accelerator
Keyboard - W

Can I upload video footage on YouTube? Can I live stream the game on Twitch or Steam?
There are no limitations about video streaming or uploading to any platform.

What are the minimum requirements for the game to run on Windows?
Requires a 64-bit processor and operating system

Additional Notes: Laptop versions of graphics cards may work but are not officially supported.

Are you going to support Mac and Linux?
Currently it's Windows only. We have to make decisions about this in development, because if we make versions for those operating systems, we also have to support it in the future with updates. It also comes down to the costs and benefits of making these versions. For now we had to decide that we won't support these operating systems.

Can I play with other peripheral controllers aside from mouse and keyboard/steering wheels? If yes, which peripheral controllers are supported?
We actually support all types of controllers, even fightsticks and Steam controllers. The most common ones are Xbox One and Dualshock 4 controllers.

How does photo mode work?
Once in the photo mode (you can access through the contextual menu during any race or once you reach the garage) you can freely move around your car and playing with the camera using the left and right sticks, then you can adjust Focal Length and Distance, Aperture Roll, Saturation, Contrast, Gamma or add Xenon Racer Logo or borders. Play with your creativity for the best results!

Why the vehicle I see is pitched black?
If you played the Closed Beta and used the Vortex vehicle the save game kept this information. The workaround is very simple: go to garage or vehicle selection and change the vehicle to one of the 4 available.

How do I retrieve a crash dump?
When “Fatal Error” message is shown just dismiss the pop up, open Notepad and press “Ctrl+V” combination. Save the file and forward it to 3DClouds via mail, including your Steam account nickname → info@3dclouds.it

How do I retrieve my DxDiag (useful to investigate malfunctions)?
- Press the [Windows] key + [R] on your keyboard to bring up the "Run" box.
- In the "Run" box, type DxDiag and press Enter. This will start the DxDiag utility.
- Once the Direct X Diagnostic Tool appears, click on the Save All Information button at the bottom.
- When asked where to save the file, click on the drop-down box next to Save in and select Desktop.
- In the File Name box towards the bottom, the name DxDiag.txt should appear. Leave this as is and click on the OK button.
- Click the Exit button to exit the Direct X Diagnostic Tool.
- On the Desktop, there should be a file named DxDiag or DxDiag.txt. If there is no file with this name, please repeat the steps above and make sure to save the file to the Desktop.
- Forward the file to info@3dclouds.it , including your Steam account nickname.
