AM I THE ONLY ONE DOING GREEN SKIES?

I been playing axis more and I haven't seen anyone go green skies as the Allies.

It is the strategy that won me tournaments and got me rank 1 season 1 and rank 1/2 season 2 (on my screen it shows rank 1 when I check my profile on the screenshot posted it shows rank 2).

I come back years later and find out it is not a normal thing people do. What gives? I AM COW HEAR ME MOO.

MY BOMBERS WILL PROTECT RUSSIA AND BOMB GERMANY TO THE GROUND.

THE BOARD WILL BE LITTERED WITH GREEN LIKE THE STOCK MARKET WITH CANDLES. LIKE THE GREEN BAY PACKERS IN THE PLAYOFFS AGAINST THE DALLAS COWBOYS. FEEL THE GREEN SKIES.

Season 6 and 7, I gave it a go. It works for me against Axis players that buy toys, but into Gold most people are marching troops. It is too easy for me t loose track of something. Mistakes are unforgiving with Air Power. I have played you and lost my German air too fast. You have a fine balance when you go air and I have not played against someone who controls the board like you do.

can you explain the strategy a bit more? Just lots of bombers from the USA bothering Germany? What about fighters? are you talking about industry bombing or what other moves got you some wins? what do you purchase with your ipcs with USA?

green skies is good and probably a strong line, but it takes too much mental willpower. I hate both playing it and playing against it. The games I win super hard arent fun. the games I lose super hard arent fun. I like playing more ground. Less variance from losing 8 bombers in one roll in one game and having none shot down ever in another.

You're probably more likely to see a line like that in tourneys.

you go up to like 3-6 transports as USA and get 50 bombers to cauc/india as fast as possible. Essentially just kill everything thats ever leaves a major stack. Its good cus the swing pressure to berlin and J fleets is immense. Germany cant send that much east, cant buy cus bombing, japan has a hard time expanding and guarding fleets, you get the idea.
bomber strats make for swingy games though. youre gunna win hard and lose hard.

A previous comment said they bought 336 bombers, of which over a 100 survived. That seemed a bit excessive

I gave my own variation of the strategy a go this season. I've been tearing up everyone when I go KGF. Other side of the coin, I really suck when I've tried KJF or even splitting my focus on G and J at the same time. Will need to get better if I want to play this strategy out more.

As mentioned by juggernaut it's also really swingy. Nothing says "fun" like losing a 6 bombers to one single ICAA over Germany, 3 over Italy, and 2 over Karelia in one single turn.

Bro exaggeration. I can’t give you an exact number. It’s literally spelled out above. 3-6 transports then all bombers and ground to fill them or w/e

I buy 2-3 bombers a turn with USA. Played 45 games.

336 bombers. I lose over 1/3rd of them by the time the game ends with the last 2 sets of bombers being bought seeing little to no action, because the game is done.
