made a 10-0 in ranked
Actually made 10-0. Will try to finish up open games to start next season clean. Only had a few weeks this season. Will try for platinum top 10, and hopefully number 1, this next season

Yes, lol, !d10cr4cy. Have to dream big, right? these first ranked games showed some holes in my axis play I hope to correct s11.

It's all about striking fast and hard. I made it to Platinum #1 with an 12-0 record this season because I played the games fast and I was the only person in platinum. It didn't last I hasten to add - I lost my next three games and I'm back to gold.

Still I was king for a couple of days!!!

So my advice is hit the ranked games hard the moment a new season opens up, and engage in a little game management to make sure your wins close out before your losses hit the ranking calculator.

I much prefer an enjoyable game to striving for a particular rank. Not that I don't want my rank reflecting my ability to win matches (as is the point of a game), but I don't feel the need to play the system in order to increase that rank. That said, the little platinum indicators are nice :)

I started playing this online near the end of last season when everyone's rating had been established over the previous 5 months. Believe it or not, it wasn't easy to win 10 straight with some games against silver, gold, and platinum allies. If it were, a bunch of random players would be posting 10-0 records at a gold or plat rating. But very few do.

Agreed. I have 4 games currently underway which are all being hard fought. Currently have 2 wins with Axis (2 still in progress) and 4 wins with Allies (2 still in progress), 1 loss - which was my own fault where I split focus with the USA against a player that took full advantage. The calibre of players I have encountered so far is excellent.
