Rolling back to previous phase
We need an option where you can roll back to the previous phase.
Or is this option already possible if you post request to developers? Let's say that you go forward two phases and move from combat move to combat without moving any units?

1) Rewind from combat phase provided no rolls have been made, up to beginning of purchase phase.

2) Rewind from end turn to beginning of noncombat.

Yeah, as long as no dice have been rolled, I support going back. It's really easy to make a mistake and not see it until you hit end phase especially since they don't show number of units moved to each territory anymore.

I'm in favor of:

1. A back button from combat move phase to purchase phase if no units have been moved.

2. A back button from the mobilization phase assuming no units have been placed on the board.

Similar to what the OP described. As soon as you touch and move a game piece, you have entered the phase and should have no ability to go back.

So as a victim of I meant to do that but forgot myself I like the idea. However, before you move on to the next phase there is a summary of every ting you are doing that phase. If we took the time to review it to make sure it is all we want to do the ability to roll back is already in place.

1942 Online went so far as to compromise gameplay to cater to casuals, but then *doesn't* have a rewind feature which a game targeted to casuals *should* have.

Yes I support this rewind idea too.

yea me too, rewind would be nice

Would very much like a rewind. Just playing a ranked game as Axis on round 3 as Germany, got distracted and thought I was still in production phase. I was in combat phase and skipped all combat moves. Someone's getting a much better chance at an easy victory.

this is needed. especially since some things are condensed in the ui and sometimes when u click say uk for example it selects ur sea zone and vice versa.

This is very much a needed addition. I think the vast majority of players would be in favor of it. As most of the posts have indicated it can be implemented in a way that allows players to move and place units as they intended up until the first die is rolled and back to after the last combat is completed. It would actually speed up play because people wouldn't have to keep checking and double checking everything quite so much. it would act as better safety net than the current summary screen which I would bet most players don't really read (but don't get rid of because we still need it)

My cat once stepped on the keyboard while I was in production and I skipped a turn of production. There are countless times when not all transports in a fleet of transports moves, or moves unloaded, or some such nonsense. There should at least be a warning when a transport doesn't move.
