Axis & Allies 1942 Online

Axis & Allies 1942 Online

2 or 3 player Co-Op on same side vs AI - It that possible ?
We are a couple of friends who have bought the game, and want's to play Co-Op for examble 2 players as Germany and Japan or tree players as the allied. In both scenarios against computer AI.

Is that possible, or is it only possible to play against each other (one as axis and one as allied) if you for example are two players ?

Hello! Yes. You can start an online game with each player controlling whatever powers you want. AI can be on your side, against you, or both.

Hi Julius

Many thanks for quick response. When we tried to coop as Germany and Japan (me and a friend) the other day against AI, I couldn't get it to work.

After your answer I will give it another try, so many thanks :-)

Do give it another shot - my brother and I have done that a few times, it does work, but the AI isn't very bright - it's good for an ego boost.

It will work. My best friend and I do this a ton because we love to play together.

If you are starting the online game, pick your mode, etc (conquest is awesome I highly suggest that). On the countries part with the drop downs, select your country and set the country your friend(s) want to be as players, and the rest as computer. Then set to private game. When you start it you can invite your friends via steam.

Sometimes it won't work right away, the computer slots will say something (I forgot the word) but just give it ten minutes or so and let your friends try to join again and it should work, or have one of them set up a game.
