Turn Time Limits

I love this game however, I would like the option to set turn time limits. Currently its nice if you want to make 1-2 moves per day but horrible if you want to sit down and actually play a full game. I want the option of creating games where each turn has 30 minutes to an hour to make a move or they auto forfite. I currently have 8 games going because nearly all titled something like "play tonight" "Quick Game" and so on. I would really like the option to set time limits to a few games so I can more easily find somebody else who also wants to just play a game now, not over the course of several days. Thank you!

so true, some time they are a no show 10 mins after signing up for a game.

It would be nice if, when creating a game, we had the option of setting the time limit per turn. 24 hours is not always possible to guarantee if people have work and family commitments. Options ranging from a couple of hours or less for those who want to play quickly up to a few days for those who enjoy the game but can't always take a turn every day. Should this be implemented, I agree with comments I saw in another thread that if the same player controls both USA and USSR, then these two factions should count as one turn for time limit purposes. Personally I'd like to be able to play a quick game with the likes of the OP when I have time, and also have a few longer games going so I can still play when I have less time available.

I would like for the developer to program an awesome AI. if there was an awesome AI, people would be able to sit down to a single payer game and face a challenging opponent as it fits their schedule; a timer wouldn't be an issue. Then keep the 24hr timer for the ranked games.

Agreed! I just posted about this as well! I would actually prefer a no time limit option with a "poke" option after 24 hours. Due to a hectic schedule, playing with my family would be much easier without time limits.

Has any progress been made on creating a turn timer? As a person who has to find time in between to play it would really be nice to set our own turn time either greater or less than 24 hours.
