I too have been having many issues online...Sometimes the game shows the games I am playing but most of the time the games don't appear....Also, in game playing online seems to be broken..Often try and play a turn and the game goes offline

Seconding this error. It never loads any of the games if you go to "join game" it loads forever and nothing shows. I can still connect to my already started games

Unfortunately the latest patch seems to have caused some issues for some people. I know it is a pain, but try following some of the suggestions in the pinned topic FAQ (Updated). They have worked for me (can only attest to single player problems).

Dev doesn't want a broken game, they want to fix it. Seems to care about the game more than most Devs I have seen. Give it some time, it will be worked out.

Guess I need to remember it is in early access. Hope these issues get resolved in the near future because I am thoroughly enjoying the game

For three hours this morning and still now, 8 hours later, my "active online campaigns" page is blank, even though I keep getting emails telling me it's my turn to move. This page going blank has been an intermittent problem from the beginning, but it hasn't been for this long before.

I read the FAQ and did not see an entry for "online games not appearing". I am currently playing multiple online games. I know this is not just an issue for me because all five players friends in an online game I am currently playing are experiencing this. True, 5 is a small sample group, but it is 100% of those people.

The only work around is to exist the game to desktop, restart and check online games again. If they are not there, repeat. I have had to do this up to 10 times before my games showed. Then had to do it again the next time.

I have only posted with negative experiences I have had with AAO, but I must state, I am loving the game and appreciate the amount of effort needed to fix issues.

We're looking into why the games lists are occasionally showing up empty for players, but we currently don't have an ETA for a solution. Sometimes reloading the game can help, or just being patient (sometimes it may populate after a few minutes). We apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your patience.

@rustyishelton this could be an issue with Steam and/or your account. Steam's customer support will likely be able to help solve your problem, hopefully.
