How sad is this game?
I have been interested in this for a while and it's on super sale right now.

But I don't really feel like getting upset at a game.

Did this game make you want to cry? Is this going to put me in a sad mood?

It's a game about cartoon animals, grow up.

ignore the degenerate guy who commented above, the ending is punchy and whether it makes you cry or not is depending on your emotions,i bought it recently and its definitely a top tier short game you have to try it,and the emotion game at the end of the game is pretty impressive:lovecrownchampion:

Hey thanks!

I decided to pass on this for now. The art is great but I find the environmental themes pretty grim.

I do not like the world that we have created and wildlife are victims. Can't deal with it.

I came to it with my guard up because I have absolutely no defense against animals suffering and thought this game would dehidrate me, but I was actually surprised. I thought it'd be a linear adventure with a very specific story but there is sort of an semi-open world thing going on and the ending is not so pessimistic if you play right.

All and all, I'd say give it a shot. It's not Hachiko or Marley and Me levels of depression.

Hey I really appreciate this explanation and it's exactly what I needed.

This is very helpful to me. Thanks!

Hi Conky, I'm an Animal Communicator, and I work for Animal Wellness with treatments (Reiki, Crystal treatments, Massages)... I work on person too with massages, Tantra, Reiki, Crystals and other "tools", but in this moment I'm mostly working on Animals. I also love video games – I have been playing since the late 1980s! And even though I know they are just games and animated drawings, every time a game involves killing an animal, it really bothers me. It's not that I enjoy killing other creatures: generally, I much prefer games where you explore vast and unknown lands. However, this type of game often relies on what is called "PvE", or Player versus Environment, so wild animals or monsters are always lurking around every corner and you need to kill some of them in order to explore further. But hey, it's just like reality... think of a jungle full of dangerous snakes and spiders... Killing can be necessary to survive.

Anyway, I understand how you feel. I mostly work with dogs, and foxes are wonderful canines. They can even be trained and domesticated if taken as babies (the internet is full of stories about people who rescued baby foxes and raised them at home; these are beautiful stories).

I got the game yesterday and I'am installing it tonight. Tomorrow I will try to play it, and I really hope it is enjoyable. Don't worry if the story touches your heart or makes you cry: our emotions are an important part of who we are, and expressing them is helpful and healthy, even if society doesn’t always agree or makes fun of our way of clearly express this kind of feelings. That’s their loss. Knowing how to cry, how to love, to embrace, to feel love for a living being or even for a plant is important, and sharing these feelings helps spreading this way of being. There is no need to be ashamed – quite the opposite! Those who only enjoy killing everything that moves should be ashamed – just look at the world we have thanks to that attitude!

By the way, I wanted to tell you something else. I found a game here on Steam that might interest you: it's called "Retreat To Enen", and it may be the only game where regeneration is achieved through meditation. It’s a survival game, but I haven't been able to play it because my PC is too old. I need to get a new one, but I can't afford it right now. But I can't wait to try it! It seems designed to help the player survive without killing – or at least killing as little as possible, just like in Avatar (I’m sure you’ve seen the movie!). You take a life only for survival, and always with sincere gratitude. If you like peaceful games without violence, you should try it!

Now, I’ll say goodbye. I send you a hug and wish you all the best in the universe. Remember: don't be afraid to show everyone who you truly are. You are a wonderful person precisely because of that! :-) <3

If you want to chat, you can find me occasionally on Steam or on Telegram as @Black_Cheetah_69. Take care, and see you soon!

Thanks. That is very kind of you. There is a lot to respond to here so I just sent you a friend request.

Yeah you'll prob cry, or at least feel lots of emotion and a VERY strong hatred towards a certain character.
There are parts that'll fill you with immense amounts of rage, parts that'll get you sobbing from how sweet it is, and parts that'll get you screaming in both fear and determination.
This game is an emotional roller coaster in short. What drives your emotions is mostly your motherly instincts to protect your children and absolutely flay anything who were to hurt them.
