Once I get it, how do I use my Cub Skill?

I'm pressing R when I'm right on an Icon that is blue and moving but nothing happens.

Thus, what should I be doing for it to work?

Sometimes the game is weird about it, usually running so it's off screen and then back fixes it for me

I'll keep that in mind. Apparently I have to smell it first and then I can do it.

I usually had to walk away a little bit, just enough for the cub with the skill to be close enough/start interacting with the area.

Hey there. The cub needs to find the skill spot at first. This will be indicated by a blue paw icon above the cub icon near the food bar. Then you have to go to your cub and help it to perform its skill by pressing the prompted button. The cub will not find any skill spots while running or being scared though. Hope this helps making good use of your cub skills ;)

Hi. I still don't get it. I play on PC and paws I meet on my way are white (when I press R when cubs are home, paws are grey and blue) and I can't do anything with them. Cubs just walk by. How do I teach them these skills?
