Constructor Plus QAs - READ BEFORE POSTING
Hi all, in the run up to our promotions for Constructor Plus we wanted to post a very quick set of QAs. Before asking a question about Constructor Plus, please check the QA section to see if your question has first been answered.

Q: My game crashed. What are you going to do about it?
A: We'd love to help you but we need you to help us by letting us know the circumstances prior to the crash. The development team are not mind readers, and while we have strived to ensure the game is as stable as possible no software is perfect. Please consider posting about your issue on the forum or contacting our support email via the support link on Steam. We want to give you, the fans, the best possible game we can give you but if there is a problem and you don't tell us we can't fix it.

Q: When will we be able to save in multiplayer?
A: As of November we're conducting internal trials of multiplayer saves and expect to have more information regarding its implementation. It's been a busy period with the various platforms we're supporting. Thank you for your patience.

Q: I see controller shortcuts despite wanting keyboard shortcuts. What gives?
A: You can press K to force the game to switch between shortcuts. If you wish, you may also remap the shortcut to another key. We could not make it do this via inputs because even the slightest bump against the stick on a controller, or minute mouse movement would cause the shortcuts to toggle back and forth.

Q: Do I need a copy of the 2017 Constructor to run Constructor Plus?
A: No. Constructor Plus, as a sequel, is completely standalone and does not require the original Constructor to run. It offers 3x the content in Constructor HD and includes all the content originally offered for the HD version.

Q: Where can I find more information about Constructor Plus?
A: If you go to the store page and click the “Quick Reference” link in the bottom right of the store page you may view a fact sheet. We will also be launching a YouTube channel with hints and tips on the day of launch called “Constructor Central”.

Q: What about the loyalty discount for existing owners?
A: We decided that the simplest method of providing this discount was using the “Constructor Plus Loyalty Discount” which gives users a 50% off Constructor Plus ONLY if they already own Constructor. This can be purchased from either the Constructor or Constructor Plus Store page.

Q: What if I don’t own the original but want to buy the bundle?
A: It is not recommended to buy Constructor Plus via the bundle unless you already own the original 2017 Constructor. It will work out to be more expensive than just purchasing Constructor Plus on its own. Remember, Constructor Plus has almost 3x more content than Constructor 2017.

Q: What about the original Constructor (2017)? Will it continue to receive updates or am I forced to buy Plus?
A: Where possible we will happily continue to update the original with bug fixes and possibly more quality of life features. Whether or not this extends to including features from Plus at a later date we cannot say – there has to be a line drawn as to what each game includes.

Q: Does the game support ultra-wide?
A: No, unfortunately because of how the assets were designed we cannot natively support ultra-wide. We apologise for this, but it is not an easy thing to resolve.

Q: Are you using Denuvo this time?
A: No. We removed Denuvo from the original game in November of last year and as such do not plan to include it with Constructor Plus.

Q: Why is the 2017 version still being sold if this is the version everyone should buy?
A: As we originally partnered with Deep Silver for the 2017 version of Constructor, we have a commitment to leaving it up for sale. We however believe that the sequel is the way forward.

Q: Will there be a demo for Constructor Plus?
A: We do have plans for a demo but at this stage have nothing further to share at the moment.

Q: Will the game have achievements?
A: Yes! We have used the opportunity of setting up new achievements to tweak and modify the existing ones in the game to make them a little more difficult to earn so that they feel like… well… achievements.

Q: What about trading cards? Come on, we want trading cards!
A: We would like to do them, but it would not be until well after release that we address them, especially as Steam has new rules regarding the release of trading cards.

Q: Will the game support multiplayer save functionality?
A: Not on release because we experienced difficulties with its implementation where it would sometimes work and other times it would not.

It is something we would like to do but at this stage we cannot make any promises.

Q: How does the AI work when it comes to replacing repairmen? I don't see them doing it very often.
A: The rate at which an AI replaces its repairmen depends on two factors, difficulty and access to repairmen. At the easiest difficulty level the AI will not replace repairman as often whereas on harder difficulties the AI will replace them at a much faster rate. Replacement of the repairmen is also faster if the AI has idle repairmen sitting around at their HQ. This, again, is affected by difficulty.

Q: Why can't I use some of the abilities of the undesirables?
A: If you are playing the "Original" difficulty then some of the abilities which make the game phenomenally easier will be disabled. Undesirables will tend to take on a more utility-based role as opposed to purely offensive.

Q: Will X language be supported?
A: Currently we support the following languages (text only):
