Auto Zoom broken

I turn off Auto Zoom and it still zooms out every time I zoom in. Frustrating as heck.

Hi there LarryP. The zoom has a limit, if you do zoom a lot, be it in or out, it will adjust a little so the camera don't get too far or too near.

Why?

Any other things in this game that doesn't deliver what it says? It says that it disables auto zoom. That's not true if the UI still zooms out when I zoom it in to see better. It should say that it partially disables auto zoom.

In this instance, auto-zoom refers to the zoom in/out that occurs when you're interacting with various parts of the game. For example, whilst placing a building the game will zoom the camera out, and then it will automatically zoom back in once you've placed it. The camera will not zoom in from a zoomed out state if it was zoomed out manually. Hence, this is why the tooltip references 'tired of being zoomed in and out'.

If you're inspecting a specific area, we do cancel the zoom out if you're holding down LMB as this was causing problems with drag-selections being interrupted. This might alleviate the issue in the meantime, but we're also happy to revisit the functionality as part of more quality of life changes.

When I zoom in, the UI zooms back out. This is after I turned the auto zoom off. That's all I know. :)
