What is the multiplayer in this game?
How exactly does it work? Can a friend and I just manage the same city together?

Hi there GahRii, the Multiplayer allow you and 3 others players to play together, you can also place AI's to fill the empty slots of course. In general, depending on the objective, you and your friend will be fighting against each other for the objective, but of course you two can fight the AI if needed, depending on the difficulty you might find this a good way to deal with their undesirables.

Hello GahRii,
Just like in all the previous versions of Constructor on Multiplayer you get to pick from a range of scenarios / objectives to achieve. Each player is solo in their own scene as it's a race to complete the chosen scenario / objective before any other team gets there first.

There is not any co-op type modes or anything new in multiplayer as the core focus was getting the single player experience spot on and correct.

What my suggestion could be for it is if you two can enter into a game together, come to an agreement in-game not to attack each other and simply focus both of your attentions on the other either one or two AI teams. Whether you both stick to this agreement however... well that's up for you both to decide. And after the AI team(s) has been defeated you can then focus your attention on each other.

Both of you will need to own a copy of Constructor Plus in order to play together and one of you will need to host the game in order for the other player to join it, there is in-game text chat but most people just voice chat on discord or team speak while in-game.
