Mob Rule / Street Wars

I've seen dev posts referring to this as a sequel rather than an "improved" re-release. Does that mean this is basically Constructor 2: Mob Rule - considering you've added more content and changed gameplay mechanics? Or is it somewhere in between the original Constructor and Mob Rule?

If not, do you have any plans on remaking Mob Rule as well in the future? (Preferably without a Mob Rule Plus a year or two after release)


PS: I've already purchased this with the loyalty discount (haven't played yet) but honestly I would've preferred the original sequel rather than the "same but better" Constructor, just my two cents.

Hi there CapricaSix, this version, the Plus, have some elements from the Mob Rules series, also on the missions you can find those elements such as not being able to build a structure until you take over an already existing one. I don't know if they plan to release an HD version of Mob Rule but Plus is an upgraded version so far.

Cheers for the reply, that's good to know but it sounds like the game isn't quite up there with Mob Rule which was heavily mafia focused from what I recall.

Too early to think about Mob Rule but it's always good to know that there are still fans of that game. Some themes such as the businesses are in Constructor Plus including the Mob Commission which provides some bonuses to the criminal element.

Tenants will visit all these businesses to help you earn more and more money so later in the game if you're sick of building homes you can start using businesses to drive your income.

Guess I'll hope for the best then (A Mob Rule remake ) and enjoy this one in the meantime. Thanks for answering.

By favoring the option of bribery in Constructor Plus, thus creating a time of truce against enemies, this would be nice, both solo and multiplayer.
