Steam Deck Control Issue?

I've just picked the game up and have an issue during battle. Once I've selected a character, I'm unable to choose a square to move to or click on an enemy square to attack. Should I see some sort of cursor or moving square akin to most tactics games on controller?

Yes you should. Normally you have a moving square to select units, then you should see a blinking red "moving range" how far that unit can go, to attack you select a square next to a enemy unit and then use the "attack" command.

Heya! I think this might be related to the bugged graphics on new versions of Proton (Steam Deck's compatibility layer). See my other post on the community forums for more info (https://steamcommunity.com/app/898750/discussions/0/592883708946568161/) but you essentially need to change to a lower version of Proton.

It's hard to tell, especially if you start the Space Campaign, because you would expect Space to be black anyway
