Franxx also seems to have come and gone out of having any major fandom due to how badly it dropped the ball so it being included in a future game is kind of unlikely.
Not that it couldn't work. There's enough robot action for sure. They made Expelled from Paradise work despite that being a movie with only two scenes really involving a mecha.
Gridman....
Gridman was a joint effort between three studios with TRIGGER being creative lead.
Come to think of it Franxx was similar. It's not really a TRIGGER show, they just did animation work on it.
And as Mokinopomu said, most of its fans abandoned ship after the train wreck that was its ending, so there wouldn't be a point in bringing it in.
That and they're severely underage yet the anime goes out of its way to sexualize the pink haired girl and Ichigo.
So was the ending to L-Gaim but it was accepted more than Franxx did. I am sure there was more to it that people don't like the show.
