Mortality says hi.
VOTOMS is pretty good. I have plenty of criticisms for it as I think it gets a bit messy and meandering at times, but it's one of the more interesting Mecha series out there. Chirico is a great stoic character that I think more media needs these days. Sadly the original series is about as good as it gets, everything else is hit and miss, often forgettable (or you'll wish you'd forget). I did like VOTOMs Finder a bit as it's own thing, but it's hard to call it VOTOMs other than it cameo's a Scopedog iirc.
Who knows when they'll just have Getter Devolution. Personally I don't care so long as we don't get just Shin Getter Dragon by it's self again. I'd rather have any Getter Robo than Dragon, even if Dragon was the strongest.
It's going to take me at least one night to install the DLC so I can't really comment on what I think of the units in-game yet. I will say that I feel something similar about Shinkalion, I think the whole transformers aesthetic ruins whatever I might like about them, similar to how I feel about some of the Might Gaine or Brave Police units. At least Shinkalion has a bit of a cool samurai aesthetic that I like though, so... I'll grit my teeth and try to enjoy the silly and flashy samurai cuts.
True I have felt he is weaker than before and his attack animation r simply bad plus no original soundtracks ..
you can always add in the track that is so OP that it even overwrites boss music yourself XD
It might be blasphemous, but I used the Dancouga Nova OP for it. I'm bummed by the lack of split and transform though.
