White Screen while streaming to Discord

So I haven't been able to screenshare this game since it launched without just screensharing my whole desktop, as streaming it directly results in a white screen and cursor whether I'm tabbed in or not. Audio plays though, funnily enough. I want to know if anyone has been having issues like this and if they ever found fixes, because I can't find any solution online. I've tried:

-Verifying integrity of game files
-Uninstalling, then reinstalling
-Deleting the config files
-Updating my Nvidia drivers

The game streams in a weird way on purpose to make it more difficult.

It's not a bug. The devs intended it this way and it blocks a lot of the popular solutions like Discord or Steam streaming.

I've been playing this game streaming it on discord for friends to watch. I see the white screen as the preview, but my friends apparently see and hear everything normally, so idk what to say really. I think the only time they see the white screen is when I do not have the game as the focus ala I click out of it or something.

It's intentional it seems, according to what some have mentioned in the following thread. That's to say, both recording and screen capture are deliberately blocked. Suggestions include using capture card or software like obs, xsplit.
