Any way to get Cybaster (Cybuster, Zybuster)
So.. I only found out about this game after it released.. and I heard Cybaster is ONLY available as a pre-order bonus?

Is there any other way to get it on Steam at all? Included in any of the DLC or anything?

That's very upsetting!
I really wanted to get back into SRW and support this being on PC and in English etc...
But Cybuster is one of my all-time favourite SRW mechs so I won't bother with this then until there's a way to get it.

That's such a stupid idea to lock a key mech behind a pre-order?!?! :fraud:

they will release it into dlc later the line but not at the moment

You can try shopping around on some key reseller sites. Some users got the preorder version even a few days after release that way, with the Preorder DLC that gives Cybuster/SRX.

Also the Cybuster integration is rather lackluster, its just ripped animations from older games and does not look nearly as good as many of the new mecha in this game. I used it for a while but then benched it since its just the unit same as always.

Thanks Zwei.. I really hope so!

Just to give you guys some idea... my late-cat I had for 15 years used to be named after Cybuster's cats, so it kinda means a LOT to me... :bbtcat:

So even if it sucks in this game, I really really want it to play it!

I guess I can try re-sellers.. thanks Ogami!
I've never done anything like that before for Steam though :3

Personally I would be very careful of reselller sites, I think steam can still remove the code if they detect if its illegal / stolen. Still if you really want to try, go ahead.

I am talking about authorized resellers, not greyzone crap like G2A.

I had a good look around but I couldn't find any that actually claimed to be offering a preorder code at all anyway :(

Yeah , it may be a bit late. The users who got one after release bought it like a day or two afterward.
By now more then a week has gone buy and i suspect those keys have run out.

Sorry about that, but still, grey reseller sites should not be used, so wasn't aware of any authorized resller sites? But yeah, I think its probably unlikely there will be keys left at this stage, unless you want to risk things.

If its like V then SRX and Cybuster will still unlock, just later in the game, while with the pre-order they join earlier

We all thought so initially as well but the devs later came out to clarify that the two mechas are only available via the preorder bonus. That's to say, no preorder dlc, no SRX or Cybuster in the game. However, they MAY(key word, not will) release the preorder bonus for sale later on.

There are dozen of authorized reseller sites that get their Steam key directly from the game publisher/developer.

Every single shop listed here: https://isthereanydeal.com/
is a legit and authorized Steam key reseller.

For example i bought a key for the Ultimate Edition of SRW 30 on Wingamestore because it was nearly 20 bucks cheaper then on Steam.
76 Euro instead of 95.
They got their keys directly from Bandai Namco.
