Custom BGM stopped working.

Before the patch I was able to have custom BGM work for exactly one stage, with the resetting issue the patch supposedly fixed, but after that stage it just completely stopped working, the tracks now refuse to play whatsoever, with units resetting to their default themes. Is anyone else having this issue, and know a fix?

The game has some problems with remembering BGM settings in general.
I have a bunch of tracks set to start in the middle instead of the beginning but nearly every mission the game resets the setting for one unit or another.
Its a bit annoying.

So do I。It all worked well before I exited the game for taking a shower, then the reconition had totally falied, no custom track can be played now.

I have no issues with the Custom BGM, and I successfully added another track after the patch.

Maybe remove all the songs in the SRW MUSIC folder, change some BGM setting so the game will overwrite the previous BGM save that has custom music, and put the custom track back again?

Good idea, and I tried it. It did *briefly* make it start working again... but then it broke while I was trying to reset themes. I feel this is just some weird bug that somehow is only affecting a small amount of people. Maybe a patch will address it.

I don't know if this solves the issue, but after you fiddle around with custom BGM, sometimes a prompt comes asking you to create a new save. Maybe it's related to this? I found it weird because this prompt didn't appear on the first time I changed to custom BGM, but appeared on the second.

Still not working.every time i set up the Custom BGM, they will reset on next mission and all Custom BGM will stop ,can not play again .

If it my case, the custom BGM took like, 5 seconds to load when you enter combat animation. And the combat animation screen also had to wait until the custom BGM is loaded. This isn't a problem I've encountered in V and X

Completely unsurprising.
For the moments I tried to actually get custom music in general to work when selecting music for specific units, the choices never actually stuck. I just gave up on it.

Out of curiousity, do any of you get a prompt about saving music data after leaving the BGM replacement menu? I accidentally cancelled out of saving my music preferences and they reset the next map so I wonder if some of this is actually user error instead.

mine seem to have a delay, but not to that extent. For me its like a 1-2 second delay. Like right when everything loads into the battle animation the music plays.

I don't remember if I propely saved before my previous play, but my custom bgms did reset. As well.

Well, I don't know what to say. Are you sure you didn't get a prompt? The prompt should be for a "New Music Save". Like I said, I didn't get it the first time, so the music reset on the next stage. But I got it on the second time, and it stayed. I'll try to post a screenshot.

I somehow think changing the BGM in intermission is better than during mission. For some reason I always press cancel when they ask me to save the BGM during mission.
