Hoping someone can make an UI/HUD mod where you can keep Pilot portraits on in combat/animations with everything else off. Right now you only have 2 options..
either you keep everything on or everything off in combat.

Like the image below:

Only way right now to make your UI/HUD look like the image above is if you're speeding up the animation.

Yea I like the look of the UI when speeding up, it would be nice if they add an option to have it look like that.

There is an option in the System Menu to turn everything but pilot portraits off even during normal speed.

Really? There is the option to turn UI off, but that turns off the portraits too, I havent seen an option to keep those on.
