Upgrade from Original to Ultimate?

So just want to make certain, its possible later on to upgrade to that version if I get the basic set?

I do know that if you want Cybuster and SRX, you have to preorder. It is NOT DLC you can buy and thus far they said they will not be offering it again.

I'm pretty sure you can upgrade to Ultimate and Deluxe later, yes.

Don't be surprised if the game / Premium Song Pack ends up delisted in the future due to licensing expiring like Project X Zone 1 & 2, so don't wait too long.

The digital version of both games was delisted on average 2.5 years after release (so the first got delisted before the sequel even came out)
It will most likely happen to SRW30 too but based on PXZ it won't happen at least until 2024 so you have all the time to get the dlcs

I mean, I guess if you're being technical, some of the songs in the JP version didn't make it to the US version for 1. I know Rocks was in JP and not US.

I wouldn't bet on it.

If cross rays is anything to go by, the only other thing they are going to sell separately is the season pass itself and nothing else. For cross rays, they are not selling the items exclusive(eg bonus parts) to the deluxe edition separately nor did they offer a direct upgrade option to the deluxe option.

As such, for SRW30, you might only be able to buy the season pass on its own in future but not any of the other edition associated items. If you want those items, then you would have to buy the full(ie including the base game) version again.
