Evangelions?

I know they aren't your traditional giant robot but this game has Gridman in it. Does it also feature the Evangelions? Didn't see them in the trailer but they were in previous games.

The series list for this game is what you seen in the trailer, so don't expect them in this game. As you said, they've been in previous game and will likely be in future games as well.

Oh well. Eva is my all time favorite anime but I guess I'll make due with Mazinger and Getter.

I know how you feel, but at least Eva is one that will always come back around. Especially since V didn't actually have the plot of the recent 2 movies. So I wouldn't be surprised if they're in another game sooner rather than later.

Could be a rights issue, like how Macross is heavily restricted in America thanks to the US holders.

One thing I've learned with SRW, is to just enjoy the series in it and how they play together, not every game has Cast lists I'm in love with but I do enjoy the mixing of shows.

Also thank god no more Daitarn 3, but instead ♥♥♥♥ yeah Combattler V

Yeah I'm just happy to be able to finally enjoy this series! Giant robots and tokusatsu have been a hobby of mine ever since I was a child and I always hoped this series would be available in the U.S. It may not have my beloved Unit 01 but there are still plenty of top tier mecha to enjoy. I'm pretty excited to see Gridman in this.

Facts. I like Daitarn, but at this point he pretty much never played a role in the plot whatsoever, and felt like roster filler. Now if only they could use a Getter other than Armageddon, that would be pretty nice.

You could try getting your hands on SRW V, that one has Eva, although the then incomplete movie series, not the original TV series, Including the Eva unit 13 and Shinji's awakened unit 01. You gotta go through some hoops to get it, though, since while it has an english translation it doens't have an official worldwide release.

It's more likely they just chose not to use Eva this time. Rights are a big thing, but they do make a roster list based on what they want to do. There's too many mecha anime for them to keep everything all the time.

That's likely because Banjo's VA died and they haven't recasted the role.

Banjo's VA did a lot of voice work outside the Daitran anime so there' a lot of voice clips that SRW had been inserting for him.

As for Getter, apparently Akira Kamiya had retired from voice acting and per retirement contract, his voice cannot be used for the forseeable future. This means no OG Getter, Raideen, Daimos, Golion, or Dangaioh if the game requires voice acting.

Eva is kinda a coinflip in the series as to if it gets in or not that I think it's won more often than not.

It really hasn't. Even getting it into F took Anno holding his bosses at gunpoint, because they didn't want it hanging out with lame old series like MSG and Mazinger Z and whatever the ♥♥♥♥ else was the reason.
He wanted Char in an Eva too but then he got reminded about how only kids could pilot them, so it'll have to wait until The Origin gets into DD.
