What do the icons mean?

I've not played Reigns before, and picking this up I'm struggling to determine what the icons at the top mean that get drained / boosted. Is there no kind of tutorial? It seems weird these are so integral but don't seem to be explained anywhere.

I figure the star is the Faith, but beyond that I have no idea.

I thought them going down was bad but I just died there with a skull over one that was full so now I don't even know whether them going up or down is good for sure. Given the likely extra attention this game will get from GoT fans who didn't play the others I think you should clarify the core rules a bit better somewhere.

lol I never played this before but I'm going to guess Sword -> Army, 7 pointed star -> Faith, The man -> The people/commoners, and the Coin -> The Ironbank

How close am I? xD
Also you can Google it, but I won't because I like guessing :P
