Will it continue to update?

guys we need to help the developers or send them anything to make them back. this game is a masterpiece.

Whilst going through my list of games, I happened upon this and decided to take a boo, and see if anything new has developed... Coming to the discussions, I note people are still posting, but it is still the same old abandoned situation. I went to the store page on steam to see that it is still being sold for an absurd amount of money given it's state of incompleteness, and went to click on the developers website link. I wanted to go there to see if they had any news, about anything at all, which is when...

Is the game abandoned?

I grabbed the planks around the cabin and the first set of crates area you find with no bear. Where can i find more planks? I'm having trouble finding a few more to just make the Crafting Room. I've ran around a far sized area and found none.
