Just removed from 'Wish List'
I been watching this game for a while now, I don't like when devs sell out to Epic but I still kept this game wish listed anyway. I just now removed it from my 'wish list' because I heard it's pretty much abandonware now... what a shame.

Nope, not really... it's their loss. I am not interested in abandonware.

i would suggest u pick it up when theres a big discount on it, sure its abandonware, but it still has a decent amount of content half of the game, after that it just slowly becomes dull.

There's no need for the passive aggressive comments, If you like the game that's great - there's no judgements here. I am glad you like the game, but again I won't be wasting my time or money on abandonware.

Keep in mind devs have been knowing going silent to return back in force for various games. Maybe even this one. If they don't return then that's fine to. You knew the risks of you've done your research before buying games.

Risk vs reward, learn to research games before you buy o7

That may be so, but that still don't make this new trend okay.

Agreed. I don't know anything about these devs so I won't speak trash about them. I'll stay neutral, I'll however note another experience instead.

I've caught a good chunk of game developers taking numerous steps back because they wanted easy money and instant support when it came to the VR market. Those making games for the PS4/5 PSVR cited "low adoption rates" yet failed to welcome gamers in regardless. Any normal game dev would have done so. Then you have Japanese indie game devs (and indie western devs) quietly or openly adding VR support.

Then there was an alleged rogue VR Developer going against VR because he wanted easy money, easy results. People called him out, as had I. It's like when you familiarize yourself with a car you can tell when a "green" mechanic lies to you, etc. A guy called 'Cix', or '@Qixliv' on Twitter. He probably scrubbed his Twitter by now, or they probably stayed. His tweets were dated back to July 30th 2021 when it came to VR.

So yeah, I do agree developers need to be held accountable for laziness, etc. As for these developers? I need to learn more about them before I either praise or speak ill. :)

LOL WTF?

Are we still talking about buying a video game and popping it in to play it? Or are we talking about stock investments here?

gtfo with that nonsense.

Loved how they came here to berate us on doing our research before buying an early-access game from a first-time dev, then ends his next post with "I need to learn more about them before I either praise or speak ill", making sure we all understand that they did not, in fact, do their research ;p

Shows how ignorant you are.

When you buy something you have to know what you're buying. Same when you go shopping at "box stores".... Physical stores. I guess you're the type to ask for the manager at retail stores.

Weeeeee. So all you want to do is talk crap. I gotcha. I'm aware this is steam forums and all that's why you're speaking this way.

Research is important and why I went neutral with my wording. Instead of trash talking you'd instead know what you got yourself into.

Its an Early access game which ran out of money so the Developers just called it done to release it through Steam for the final money grab before abandoning. Nothing to see, loser Devs destined for derision from their audience.
