Pink/purple screen while launching the game

When i launch the game, there is a purple screen and the sound of the menu backwards. But i can't do anything and i've tried everything even reset my computer.

I just found how to solve this problem. I saw a message from a user, i'm gonna post it here so you can follow what it's said and solve this ! DM me if you have questions


- Go to the Windows search box and type in "registry" to open the Registry Editor

- On the top search bar, type "HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\FJRD Interactive"

- Delete the entire "FJRD Interactive" folder on the left-side menu by doing right-click on it, then 'Delete'

- Launch the game again and check whether the issues was fixed or not

- If it wasn't fixed, access the registry again and type "HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\FJRD Interactive\Among Trees"

- Right-click on "Screenmanager Resolution Height_h2627697771" and select 'Modify' > 'Decimal' and type in the same "1080"

- Right-click on "Screenmanager Resolution Width_h182942802" and select 'Modify' > 'Decimal' and type in the same "1920"

- Both registry entries with "Default" on their names should also have those values

Ahhh. So what is happening is the game is defaulting the game's resolution to your desktop resolution and as it was built for 1920x1080, anyone with a widescreen monitor, wider than these dimensions would cause an issue.
