Looks like Among Trees is the only game these developers have created. So you really want to stain your name so badly just to get the little kick back your getting from Epic to F over the community by going exclusive to them? Really you want to go down that road after seeing how much you lose out by comparison instead of opening your game to all platforms?

Hope the blood money was worth is S*@t bags, you'll never see a dime from me. Shame too I was actually interested in this. Immediately taken off my wishlist. Enjoy your failure and smear across your developer name by going exclusive. Hope your development team rots from your poor choices.

how exactly are you suppose to know how much they lose out by comparison of opening it to all platforms if it didn't happen. you have no true idea of why they went exclusive on epic dont you, simply a usual hater of epic for no reason, in a year or so when itll come on steam, you will probably buy it coz its allready a good game, youre the one missing out because of your hate?

well, we do know some things - steam takes 30% off of sales, epic takes only 12%. Plus any exclusivity bonus. They're not losing anything, actually getting more out of it. Reality is that steam is milking developers and it's good there's some competition rising up, that will hopefully over time provide better conditions on all platforms. Although it's going to be a really slow rise because of ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ like that guy up there "REEEEE ITS NOT ON THE SHOP I WANT REEEEE"

Let's be honest, this is all it comes down to. Just like an infant child quickly learns to make noise when it doesn't get what it wants to manipulate those around them, some people haven't grown out of that habit. It was funny when he tried to project his behaviour onto others as well by calling us cry babies.

It's obviously a better deal for devs and EGS is far more popular than the Steam loyalists will lead you to believe. Anti-Epic crowd are a tiny (but loud!) minority, a roadblock on the progress of the gaming industry who like you say, are holding back positive change for all platforms and developers because of their selfish, irrational desires.

I want you to explain why GoG is struggling financially, since they already provided a superior alternative to Steam and a more consumer friendly choice than Epic and Steam.

The answer is, it might be more consumer friendly in some points, but the main reason its not as successful as steam is because its not as good as steam on some other points.
Like having thousands of games, forums, a "social media hub", workshop integration, matchmaking servers, connection to almost all games online through the friendslist and so on. just to name the obvious ones.
