I'm also encountering this issue on my laptop, even with trackpad scroll enabled.
"so i looked around a bit and found this thing called autohotkey which is a way to script button presses into other stuff? not sure, but you can write a script which remaps buttons and run it while playing coloring pixels, the syntax for it is:
buttonPressed::buttonOutput
which means if you wanted to remap [ and ] to the scroll wheels you would write:
[::WheelDown
]::WheelUp
and while this script is running, (you can stop it at any time its not a permenant thing) pressing [ or ] will scroll and stuff.
here are the links i used to get this K N O W L E D G E:
https://autohotkey.com/docs/misc/Remap.htm#Remap
https://autohotkey.com/docs/KeyList.htm
i hope you found it helpful."
EDIT: I tried all the keyboard (with CTRL and ALT together with buttons on the numpad also), it seems there is no zoom option per keyboard. Or it is too well hidden. My suggestion doesn't work, sadly.
